There have been a lot of changes but the general rules are still the same provide great contents build non-spammy and natural linkbuilding properly optimize the site then there should not be any problems.

We need more ranters and SEO vigilantes to call bullsh*t when it needs to be done.

I had been on a string of rants at just about the time Penguin rolled out, most of which had to do with “seriously, stop trying to trick Google”. The Penguin timing couldn’t have been better for me.
I have to admit my title is sort of spammy on my own “recovery” post. It is actually more about recovering from keyword and webspam addiciton than recovering from penalties – admit you have a problem, etc. So yeah, it is a rehash, too. I figured if I can preach a little to those who were looking for an easy way out from their easy way up that went bad, then it was worth the slightly misleading title.

And yes, it looks like the Google Dance is now a dance-a-thon.
